What is a Novena?

A novena is a series of prayers that are said for nine straight days. It is usually as a prayer of petition or as a prayer of thanksgiving.

Pray to Saint Jude Thaddeus to give thanks to him or for his asking help for him to intercede to God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit on your behalf.

Additional Prayer

Say the following prayer for every day of the novena prayer:

May the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus be adored, and loved in all the tabernacles until the end of time. — Amen.

May the most Sacred Heart of Jesus be praised and glorified now and forever. — Amen. St. Jude pray for us and hear our prayers. — Amen.

Blessed be the Sacred Heart of Jesus Blessed be the Immaculate Heart of Mary Blessed be St. Jude Thaddeus, in all the world and for all Eternity.

Our Father…

Hail Mary…

According to the New Testament, Jude was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus. He is generally identified with Thaddeus, and is also variously called Jude of James, Jude Thaddaeus, Judas Thaddaeus or Lebbaeus.

He is sometimes identified with Jude, the brother of Jesus, but is clearly distinguished from Judas Iscariot, the apostle who betrayed Jesus prior to his crucifixion.
